Gender differently!
Roc, Espace dAM and Arc – an Institution of Migros Culture Percentage, invite you to an artistic and participatory project: 1 day, 3 spaces, 3 unique projects:
In a tradition of openness towards others and driven by a thirst for knowledge, the formerly masculine monastery of Romainmôtier hosts a participatory experience: Women-friendly. This three-part event tackles the burning issue of gender identities – one of the most pivotal in modern society – in a highly innovative way looking at it from various perspectives.
Women-friendly goes beyond a feminist framework in addressing gender-related questions. It adopts a forward-looking and experimental spirit that assumes the heterogeneity and complexity of positions. Bringing to bear a critical eye and an intersectional approach, the event explores the tensions between inclusive and exclusive standpoints encompassing gender, class, culture, ethnicity, generation, education, custom, sexual orientation, language and more.
Come along to the event in Romainmôtier! You can consult a living book in the “Maison des Moines”, which will be transformed into a human library, complete a giant puzzle in the Espace dAM and enjoy a cine-concert at Arc.
