Lydia Dimitrow

Lydia Dimitrow studied comparative literature at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Lausanne. She translates poetry, novels and works for the stage into German from French and English, including works by authors such as Isabelle Flükiger, Bruno Pellegrino, Valérie Poirier and Aristide Tarnagda.

In 2011, she began working with Magali Tosato and Franziska Keune as an author and dramaturg on: Der Auftrag (“The Mission”) by Heiner Müller (bat-Studiotheater Berlin, 2013), I love Italy and Italy loves me (bat-Studiotheater Berlin, 2014), Hamlet after William Shakespeare (touring production for schools in the cantons of Vaud and Geneva, 2015), Home-made (Théâtre de Vidy-Lausanne, 2015) and Amour/Luxe (Théâtre de Vidy-Lausanne, 2017).
