Pascal Singy


Pascal Singy is a professor of sociolinguistics at the University of Lausanne’s Faculty of Biology and Medicine.

His research focuses on the variation of natural languages, mainly within the French-speaking world, and on communication in the medical sector, in particular concerning preventative medical issues (HIV/AIDS) and consultations involving vulnerable patients, whether they are migrants, cancer patients, deaf or hard of hearing, or facing end-of-life situations.
