Marie-Andrée Pellerin

Marie-Andrée Pellerin holds a degree in architecture from Université de Montréal (CA) and a Master of Fine Arts from the Dutch Art Institute (NL).

Her current research in sculpture and performance focuses on the lifecycles of the objects that surround us. The symbolic use of the volcano is a metaphor for a continual re-articulation of matter. Beside her own practice, she started collaboration with the British artist Charlie Dance, through which they depart from the idea of working hard instead of thinking too much.
